THE FOUNDER

Solomon Hatley was born on January 30, 1966, in Memphis, Tennessee. He is the son of Anna Margret Gray Harden and Eugene Hatley, both originally from Memphis. Solomon is married to Sippia Hatley, and together they have SEVEN children and seven grandchildren.

Solomon graduated from Overton High School in 1984. Shortly thereafter, his mother signed the necessary documents for him to enlist in the United States Army. Throughout his 20-year military career, he dedicated 15 years to service as an enlisted soldier. In 2002, he was honored to receive a commission from the Secretary of the Army as a Warrant Officer, ultimately retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 2.

Solomon stands out as the sole food service professional who advanced from field cook to food service administrator within the 81st Command based in Birmingham, AL. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the food service operations across 11 battalions within the southern region. His duties included the training of food service personnel and the management of accountability for millions of dollars worth of food, ensuring the effective implementation of the Army Feeding System.

In 1986, while in Germany, he attended extended courses at The University of Chicago. He then returned to complete his studies at Shelby State Community College, where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration. In 2004, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Furthermore, he was awarded a PhD in Logistics from Charleston University in Charleston, West Virginia.

In 2005, Solomon founded Liberty Logistics, Inc., a trucking company that continues to operate successfully today. The company has offered a diverse array of services to various industries, including chemical tank transportation, cold food logistics, dry bulk shipping, and agricultural shipments. Solomon brings with him 27 years of extensive experience in the transportation sector.

Freewill International Ministries was established in 2002 following the ordination of Solomon in Jeanette, Arkansas. Today, the ministry actively operates in Memphis and provides online services to reach a wider audience. under Solomon Hatley Ministries. He has served in the community for over 20 years.
